Hallo Spaceboy

(Hallo) Spaceboy, you're sleepy now
Your silhouette is so stationary
You're released but your custody calls
And I want to be free

Don't you want to be free
Do you like girls or boys
It's confusing these days
But Moondust will cover you
Cover you

This chaos is killing me

CHORUS

So bye bye love
Yeah bye bye love
Bye bye love
Yeah bye bye love

This chaos is killing me

VERSE

And the chaos is calling me

Yeah bye bye love
CHORUS

This chaos is killing me
This chaos is killing me

Yeah bye bye love
Bye bye love
Good time love
Be sweet sweet dove
Bye bye spaceboy
Bye bye love

Moondust will cover you (repeat ad. inf)

(Versão original Bowie. Há uma versão do Bowie + Pet Shop Boys, mas gostei DESTA da banda Pagan´s Mind, bem pesada, com um "clip" não-oficial com imagens do filme The Fountain. Segundo o Wikipedia: " It features a return of Major Tom, a character seen in previous Bowie songs "Space Oddity" and "Ashes to Ashes"

Ashes to ashes

(David Bowie)

Do you remember a guy that's been
In such an early song
I heard a rumour from Ground Control
Oh no, don't say it's true

They got a message from the action man
"I'm happy, hope you're happy too
I've loved all I needed to love"
Sordid details following

The shreiking of nothing is killing
Just pictures of Jap girls in synthesis and I
ain't got no money and I ain't got no hair
But I'm hoping to kick...but the planet is growing

CHORUS
Ashes to Ashes, funk to funky
We know Major Tom's a junkie
Strung out on heaven's high
Hitting an all-time low

Time and again I tell myself
I'll stay clean tonight
But the little green wheels are following me
Oh no, not again
I'm stuck with a valuable friend
"I'm happy, hope you're happy too"
One flash of light...but no smoking pistol

I've never done good things
I've never done bad things
I've never done anything out of the blue, woh-o-oh
Want an axe to break the ice
Want to come down right now

CHORUS

REPEAT
My mother said to get things done
You better not mess with Major Tom

(Trecho do Wikipedia sobre Ashes to Ashes: "Instead of a hippie astronaut who casually slips the bonds of a crass and material world to journey beyond the stars, the song describes Major Tom as a "junkie, strung out in heaven's high, hitting an all-time low". This lyric was interpreted as a play on the title of Bowie's 1977 album Low, which charted his withdrawal inwards following his drug excesses in America a short time before, another reversal of Major Tom's original withdrawal 'outwards' or towards space")

Space Oddity

Ground Control to Major Tom
Ground Control to Major Tom
Take your protein pills
and put your helmet on

Ground Control to Major Tom
Commencing countdown,
engines on
Check ignition
and may God's love be with you

[spoken]
Ten, Nine, Eight, Seven, Six, Five, Four, Three, Two, One, Liftoff

This is Ground Control
to Major Tom
You've really made the grade
And the papers want to know whose shirts you wear
Now it's time to leave the capsule
if you dare

This is Major Tom to Ground Control
I'm stepping through the door
And I'm floating
in a most peculiar way
And the stars look very different today

For here
Am I sitting in a tin can
Far above the world
Planet Earth is blue
And there's nothing I can do

Though I'm past
one hundred thousand miles
I'm feeling very still
And I think my spaceship knows which way to go
Tell my wife I love her very much
she knows

Ground Control to Major Tom
Your circuit's dead,
there's something wrong
Can you hear me, Major Tom?
Can you hear me, Major Tom?
Can you hear me, Major Tom?
Can you....

Here am I floating
round my tin can
Far above the Moon
Planet Earth is blue
And there's nothing I can do.
